And your point is supposed to be what? That your dad is an unfaithful, sorry person? plentyoffish is like any other dating website. That website is for single people. But whether someone lies or not, well, you can't fault the website for that. It's not like they go around doing background checks on every single person on their website. People are expected to be honest. And if you can't be that.. Then your true personality is revealed isn't it?

It's nice that plenty of fish is helping out all these people, but my story involves a credit card that was compromised somewhere in cyber land, these guys are making big bucks with out making a bad name for not working with a poor brother like me that now can not pay my cable bill because they would not reverse a charge that is not even under my name for a measly $130 Why Why and why after talking to their phone rep and seeing that it was not me that made the charge did they take my money

1) I think POF is a waste of time if you're just an average guy looking for a relationship. A lot of girls misrepresent themselves online - they're not really looking, they're just addicted to serial dates thru POF, or they turn out to be ugly or very overweight, or just plain WEIRDOS. The few that are nice are holding out for someone that looks like Brad Pitt with a nice house, nice car, & a successful career.

2) You can't tell what a person is like online, or if there's a genuine spark, no matter how much you chat with them & how many pics they have. It’s better to meet someone the old-fashioned way… not online, but thru a chance meeting in real-life. In the 18 months I was on POF (2006 – 2007), I met 45 women in person, which was just a fraction of the number I contacted or vice-versa online.

4) Another thing that really bothered me, & has only gotten worse, is the guy who runs POF – Markus. He’s an anal, uptight, control freak. He would constantly remove pics that he deemed inappropriate, even if they were just harmlessly funny. I got loads of replies just because of making people laugh, but Markus would routinely remove the pics. He’s an uptight ASSHOLE.
