  • Hi! Great demo, amazing guitar, I have that one too! The second position you're demonstrating is a combination of the neck pickup with the bridge pickup, not neck with single coil. That's Steve's surprice! He used that position for clean stuff!

  • dude, you make the best reviews on music man guitars on youtube. congratz

  • @blaskode Thanks for this interesting tip! I think that this could be the solution for me cause I am playing much less loud than Steve (of course) and don't need this balancing out effect to ,as you say, tame the high end...thanks again and may 2012 be a great musical year:)

  • @turockandar Just swap out the pots. Steve uses 250k pots to tame the high-end on the bridge pickup. If you swap them out for 500k pots, you should notice a substantial increase in high end and attack!

  • I love the finish on the purple sunset but I think it looks way better off without that pickguard. btw awesome guitar playing

  • 13K views for a review of the signature of one of the greatest players that ever walked the earth is rediculous.

    great playing.

    greetings from germany

  • LOvely guitar but not sure why they waste the time making this guitar with a Floyd Rose. I have found them to be useless. You can make any trem stay in tune if set up correctly, without having to deal with a locking nut.

  • wow this video was really great! I think I'm falling in love with musicman guitars...

  • This demo is what every demo should be! it covers all combinations of its pickups, clean and dirty, with and without a backing track. Thanks a lot for this demo.

  • Thanks a lot for the demo and your nice playing! I recently bought a SMY2 and although I love the neck and ergonomics I am a bit disappointed with the attack level which I find quite dull....my basis for comparison is my VOS Les Paul, a 65 relic Strat, a custom 22 PRS and a Nik Huber Orca. I would certainly appreciate your opinion..thanks mate:)

  • this dude's AWSOME he has a great, no beautiful guitar, he's really good at it,

    and he surfs and skateboards.
