Aaliyah was very seductive in her dancing odviously, which is not a problem because you need to throw alittle sexiness in the music industry it sells and every female artist tend to have that...But then you have too much exposure, Aaliyah was a seductive woman, however, she did not portray herself as a whore, and didn't half naked to show off, Okay sports bra's and her torso showed that's fair game like I said female artists tend to show alittle it's just how it is. But aALIYAH wasn't out there which is why alot of her fans both male and female tend to have respect for because she didn't portray herself trashy she showed sexiness without being too much of it..unlike most artists who throw themselves out being somebody they not no offense to Rihanna but she got really sexual in her songs and at first she was your typical R&B artist but she still dope she got that swagg and eeverthign she doing her. Beyonce toned it down alttle which was good...But back to Aaliyah her way of showing sexiness came natural I mean since she first came out she had that boy swagg but still fenimim more else where...she didn't be somebody she wasn't in fact her transition was timing, we saw Aaliyah as this street homegirl from Detroit, as she got older she was transitioning showing her girly side, with Dresses and girl clothes more often, she became a full out woman as she hit 20's and that was due to the fact she was getting older and them days were soon to be over with the whole bandana tom boy thing...because she was maturing. SHe always acted her age which was nice, I like how she was 22 yet she still got permission from her mom if she could do alittle sexy dance in her videos. SHe was the defenition of a critical thinker she asked herself questions she wanted to know what her fans would think if she did this or that, and family wise too she didn't want to portray herself as too much sexy sexy she wanted to keep it mild because she knew she had young fans and she didn't want them to think wrong things like most female artists tend to do...for me I was 8 when I saw RTB I had no idea that the song was about "SEX" i thought it was well rock the boat rockin a boat lmfao but i knew the words etc not knowing what the hell it meant until I got older, and she showed no sex actions inside the video besides that one thing on the water lmfao but I never thought wrong about that xD i was young and i still don't...Her videos wasn't girl on dude grinding so thats one thing I like about her videos....!
