Back to my new hilltop spot, working 17 meters, and signals are improving. The QRZ responses kept pouring in one after the other. After getting a tip from a local operator on the band (K6RRA) to tune to a frequency with a powerful Japan Ham, I made contact with JH2AMN. Right after that I pushed my way into coastal Maine, and successfully worked N1YTN. What a satisfying expedition =)
