  • In Jamaican there is no social assistance so people have to struggle very hard. They are from the ghetto and struggled very hard and what she is saying she is encouraging other parents from the ghetto to motivate their kids because with strength and prayers their children will be able do good like Shelly ann.

  • @MyRastagirl hahahah

  • I am not sure if people know this or not but Patois, love it or hate, is its own system of speech, and thus is not "low class" no matter who is speaking it. It is NOT a low English but a dialectic using English that has its own unique strengths and weaknesses. "Every dog has 'im day, every puss 'im 6 o'clock" is wisdom, not some kind of inability to speak English. Instead of dissing patois we should be learning about it / FROM it.

  • hey tenseman08 .. wats up ?? ok .. hear this ....

GO SUCK OUT U MADA PUSSYHOLE AND FUCK OFF !!!!

  • 1nekcnyc-I like that you at least try to understand her without dismissing her.

It's not just the accent though, some of the speech patterns are totally different-and that would make it a lot harder to understand someone speaking a heavy patois. for ex: @ :30 I think she says "the gunman I speaking to uno to". What she's saying is "gunmen, Im speaking to you as well". But if you're not familiar with Jamaican patois, I think that might be hard to get..

Her overall message is on pt tho-Christ!

  • I'm very sure she does not speak good English according to you but if you go to school with her she would be a head of you with higher GPA. from you writing you can see that your are illeterate.
