My First Wolf- St. Maries, Idaho

I took this wolf on March 18th with the help of my friend Bob. We tracked it for two hours, came around the corner and were presented with a 275-300 yard shot which I took. One shot from my .270 killed the wolf where it was laying, and it was the first wolf taken in Benewah County since they were de-listed (as far as I know). Thanks again to my friend Bob for his help, backup and excellent camera work on this epic hunt.

@yinyangthang how about instead of asking stupid hypothetical questions typical of liberals you look into the facts of ecology and recognize that wolves are just like the deer they hunt... if they are not controlled, they will eat their prey in numbers that are not sustainable like they are doing to the elk and deer in idaho and wyoming. wolves are not "Special" in any way, they need population control just like any animal.
