MISSION COMPLETE !

@YoungBeastly No, the mags are modified to specifically NOT lock the slide open when empty.
-
no slide lock at :47?
-
@Chriznak I'd go with an STI Spartan in .45 ACP. They only cost 1/4 of a nut! We have them in stock at our online store.
-
@DawsonPrecision thanks for the info. I'm just doing my research before I make my purchases and I'd like to rock a SIG 220 or a Glock 21 if I can since 1911's cost 2 left nuts.
-
@Chriznak The USPSA rulebook states: "Handgun: Major Power Factor, and at least .44 caliber, No more than 10 rounds loaded in a magazine. (may further restrict to .45 only, single-stack, etc.)". So it depends on the match director's whim.
-
anyone know if you can use a non-1911 style firearm for the pistol in the multigun heavy metal division?
-
What tipe of trigger control do you practice?
-

Not a forgotten reload, actually, but a failure to load the mag to capacity prior to starting the stage. A rookie mistake, but, eh, I'm human...

i noticed the pistol shells on the ground, don't you use it for reloads?

This the US Nationals Championship. Given the amount of competitors, it is too time consuming to pick up all the spent casings. The range officers get to keep the empties on their stages.
