I have 1GB RAM and it works pretty smoothly.

Thanks dude. Thinking of buying one but not sure as its a bit risky buying the 1st gen version. Have you any complaints with yours? Any annoying Mooing sounds?

So far, the only complaint is the speakers are not loud enough and the battery gets too hot that you can't really put the notebook on your lap.
