@stevenson1994 - What I understand is that she is putting out her own music and not signed up with a major label. A major label has the money to get her music out to every US radio station and push her music. She has chosen not to go with a big label, because she feels that she would loose control of the creative process. She wants to focus on the music and not the money or politics of the music world. She was nominated for a Grammy, which is big.

@briskuwa That's not true. I'm American and I bought her album. The problem is there's no market for Robyn in the U.S. there's just to many pop stars doing similar (though not as good) music.
