@arturesteve Yup. I can't find whatever I wrote that you're replying to, but yes...I knew that. The hoax pretty much backfired on them, sadly, and THIS recording of Kara's never saw much airplay. Too bad too. The first one was...meh...but I rather liked this one.

@kcgirlgeek Huh? You do know that the Platinum Weird of the 70's was a hoax, right? And that the "original" version was released around '06 and that Kara actually did the vocals.

@all1813 They all have Kara's voice. The Make Believe album is from '06 and the whole 70's band was a hoax, Kara actually sings in that album.

this is the original... if you're thinking of the very old 70's version... that was a marketing hoax. Platinum weird has existed only since 2006 or so.
But i have to say... it was a pretty intresting and well played hoax

i like the original so much more. you get more of an easy-going feel. i dont like all the extra stuff and the changes with the vocals...
