its proble the IAC (idle air control valve) did you have a check engine light

I was having egr flow problem and my engine would immediately cut off but power will still be on. This would randomly occur and sometimes when stop at a traffic light, I would have to turn car off and turn it on twice to get it working. My computer knew that I had insufficient egr flow so check your code reader.

If your having an egr valve problem, your check engine light will come on and you will get a code saying insufficient egr flow.

fuel pressure regulator

I'm experimenting the same problem! Changed the EGR valve and mass air flow... Cleaned the Throttle body... Nothing works... What was the solution with your van??
Thanks!

I replaced the throttle body and the throttle body position sensor that was expensive. Try changing the wire harness connected to the TBPS. It will save you the expense i went through to find out it was the problem. Hope this helps
We sold the van to a mechanic friend. He opened up the computer box and it was dirty and corroded. He replaced it and it's ran fine since (almost a year now)
I 'fired' my regular mechanic. And we bought a Ford.

The problem turned out to be the computer box.
