Come on man. That skit is awesome...really expresses the lonliness and awkwardness of mitch when interacting with another. I'm certain it's the most hilarious one...aside from the one with the plate on the plate...very original. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

MItch, not sure what your inspiration was, but to me you've captured the especial horror and loneliness of PBS daytime programming for adults. I only question your choice of shirt collar. Flawless otherwise!

@tintintabulations Thanks! And you are absolutely correct about the collar, for the "Funny or Die Presents" episodes (look for them on HBO!) I wore a button-down collar which is more appropriate.

A large part of the humor for me is trying to imagine everything that happened to Mitchell to make him the lonely, damaged human being he's become. It shouldn't be funny, but it's just so subtle and subversive I can't help but laugh.
