WHAT WHY DID IT STOP IT WAS JUST GETTING GOOD

I love the editing in this sequence. It did what editing does at its best: throw a bunch of essentially unrelated and boring on their own images and throw them together to make something exciting. And to anyone chastising the visuals for their "dated" look: these and the rest of the movie's effects look perfect in the world it created. To call it dated is unfair and even wrong, because the world of TRON will always look unique, and thus timeless.

Still holds up well today - it's got pace, the editing is snappy, I assume because the director had worked with animation before and knew how to sequence and storyboard this kind of thing.

They should have used these kind if effects for Tron Legacy, because honestly these effects look way better than the ones we have today in my opinion.
