@danit303 He didn't kill his daughter. It was an accident. She was playing outside when his son came home in his new car. He couldn't see her and she couldn't see him. A complete fluke. I'm 13, and how much ever big I grow, I'll never be ashamed to say my parents are my best friends next to God. Listening to this song, the thought of getting separated from my father made me get emotional...(shhh!)

Wow. I have a 7y/o daughter. If I lost her, I certainly would not be strong enough to NOT blame God. What an amazing song.

@missmeganwright I was thinking the same thing. The poor man wrote a beautiful tribute to the daughter he lost. That is the problem with the internet - cold, impersonal, and unfeeling. You can post something negative and just move on.

the power it took to write this song in a state of grief that strong staggers me. if you dont believe in god or his awesome power maybe this song can convince you of it. this man lost his daughter! and in the face of that pain it would have been so easy to blame it all on god and deny him..but this man faced it all down and still glorified god despite his obvious heartache. to god be the glory.. he gave chapman strength to do something that most men could never accomplish. god is great

This is the first time I've heard this song... It brought me to such tears... I have a child. He's healthy and beautiful and the most precious piece of heart. And if I lost him... I wouldn't know what to do.... This is exactly how I would feel... And I'm so thankful that I get to kiss him every day and feel his soft skin against mine... Just thinking of how it would be if I ever lost him makes my heart ache. I thank God for my beautiful boy... Our children are so precious...
