Chris Shingleton - Escape Artists Never Die (Funeral For A Friend Acoustic Remake)

While I love the Funeral For a Friend version of this song, i was always thinking it'd be awesome to do an acoustic version. I hate when heavier bands do acoustic covers and play the same guitar parts, only on acoustic instruments... it is really kinda pointless... I decided to take a page from Jimmy Eat World (who re-writes their songs almost entirely when doing an acoustic version) and re-wrote this song to fit how I think an acoustic version should go... Hope you like it

It's an Epiphone PR350. Mine is early/mid 80's. It's weird because it has a Gibson headstock ... it's had an under-bridge pickup

@Spanielle88 Thanks a bunch. Yeah, I wanted to do an acoustic version in the vein that artists like Jimmy Eat World do theirs... where it could be a totally seprate song in itself. I wish in this instance the singing was better, but I was outside with a crappy camera and had a bit of a sore throat (the joys of a weekend at church camp!) Glad you like it!

I have the same guitar but mine according to the serial number is an early 90's. It has the same under bridge pickup with the jack on the under side. I absolutly love this guitar! Peace friend
