They used 5 Gallons of KY Jelly on this thing to give it a disturbing "Slimy" effect.
True story.

hahahha i remember now the first time after watching this movie. i got really high afterwards and my dog came and jumped on my bed, and i was really scared that he was the thing haha

This is a shit ton of atmosphere, and had more than the entirety of the prequel. Not to mention, dogs being its victims. One of this film's best scenes.

@EnigmaDrath your priorities are just right in my eye. humans can take care of themselves, we have to protect the animals!
-on a related note.
LEAVE THE DOGS ALONE YOU BASTARD >:O

Well yeah, if a dog suddenly turns into a hideous mutant arachnid, and is trying to kill to you, naturally top priority- you're gonna run for your fkin life or at least try to

@EnigmaDrath if it makes ya feel any better so are mine LOL

@Lava91point0 It's probably parts of another alien it absorbed. All of its manifested forms are an amalgamation of different alien species that it's imitated.

all of the dogs did the blood test but you what happened

I always wondered about the part where its sprouts hands to try and pull itself out of harms way, are they a rough imitation of smethin else it absorbed or just a twisted creation of human hands, or 3. It uses images and thoughts recorded from the brain to change into whatever you fear most.
When people are killed in horribly gruesome ways in movies I'm all, "Whooo! That was so sick and bad ass! Man, that's gotta hurt like a bitch! More! More!"
When dogs/animals are killed in movies I'm all, "Nooooooooo!!! The poor thing!!"
... My priorities are a bit shrewd XD
