Saman Dance in Argentina

Performance of Saman Dance by students of Nigelia Sonria Dance Academy, Rosario, Argentina. All the students are Argentineans.

They learned the dance from the Saman Dance group of the Indonesian Embassy, Buenos Aires, led by Rendy Pangemanan.

Saman is a traditional dance from Aceh Province, Indonesia. The dance requires a high level of syncronization between dancers.

Apart from this dance, students of Nigelia Sonria also performed 8 other Indonesian dances in a show called Namashivaya, on November 5th, 2008.
