Sequel to Yojimbo, the ronin samurai is at it again, helping a group of misfortunates to overcome rival forces. Sato returns with a different, but equally bouncy and seemingly misplaced theme music that fits perfectly the character of Mifune and his development in the film.

The film was remade in a America as A Few Dollars More

  • @Nualchemist Fistful of Dollars was not a remake, but it was modeled closely off of Sanjuro.

  • Great song but two things: 1. For a Few Dollars more was Italian with American actors thrown in. 2. For a Few Dollars more is not a remake of Sanjuro, you're thinking of a Fistful of Dollars (which was a remake of Yojimbo). Didn't know if you knew that or not.

  • Love this theme.

  • @Nualchemist It was played at the end, before it switches to the yojimbo theme as he walks away.

  • Just loved the ending.

  • This is one of my favorite movies!

  • This music can be heard on the trailer of the same film but is not the actual theme music of "Sanjuro". Plus, Americans did not remake this film. Japanese studio remade it just recently.

  • Sanjuro Adventures :D great movies!

  • I think you spelled "sequel" incorrectly...
