I'm watching the series clips for the first time too. Gives me the creeps. It's like a cartoony carebear version of a great work of art.

@vincient66 I agree, I dislike a lot of today's shows. I miss watching Watership Down, Redwall and the others on TV. I'm 20 and I love finding these dvd's and watching them, it gives me a sense of nostalgia. Thanks for your comment.

Maybe it wasn't the best adaption of WD but it was a good show.

When I was 5 I named my rabbit after Pumpkin.
Can you imagine what my rabbit would have been called when I was born a few years later? I'm so happy I was born in the '90's

Ahhh *sigh* how I miss the Watership Down seasons I used to watch them when I was 3 I think, I can't realy remember ^^

@rootay No it didn't. Season 3 saw the animation change badly and only 3 of the original voice cast stayed on. The plot went all over the place, Hazel got all the other creatures on the down to help them in the final battle, there was little bloodshed and I think again it ended not knowing if Woundwort was really dead or not.

I never really watched this series to the end, but I assume the conclusion of the story didn't end the same as the film...i.e a harrowing bloodbath!?

@Iamnoguitarist So true I miss traditional animation, being a cartoonist myself, I love the beauty of painted backgrounds and smooth drawn lines. :)
