  • Is all your training info including where to get a clicker on your blog? I love my Sun Conure, Sunshine. I've managed to train him to poop on his playgym when he's out instead of on me.

  • Yes, if you click on the "Parrot Training Info" link in the right column, you'll find a link to where to buy a clicker. (Or just go to a pet store and ask for a dog clicker, they are the same thing).

  • how did you teach your bird to wave???

  • I describe how I teach this trick on my blog. The URL is in the description box above.

  • Thanks. Yeah I am really enjoying clicker training my 2. They are getting on fab. They are a bonded pair and I adopted them from my friend as she found them difficult to handle due to their aggression. They are totally different now after just 2 months of c/t:-) I am also a member of "Birdclick".

  • That's wonderful. And just saw that you're starting training with your rats too. How fun!

  • Great job!

I would like to teach Pepsi how to wave, too.

  • Oops, last post was from me but didn't notice that my daughter was still signed in, lol!

  • Well still very early days with the rats, them being so new and all, but have got them aquainted with the sound of the clicker and when I do click you can now see they are expecting something good is on the way:-)

  • Clicker training is lots of fun and great for your birds. I highly recommend it!! :)
