Starcraft 2, Brutal difficulty walkthrough with commentary
Mission 9: Haven's Fall

Build a fleet of vikings to stop zerg infestation at various colonies around the map, all while destroying the 4 main zerg bases. The most important thing about this map is to never let a colony infestation finish. When a colony gets infested, a bunch of zerg run over to it and start building a virophage. If the virophage finishes, the colony becomes fully infested, and starts sending huge waves of zombies at you. Fortunately, the units guarding each phage are made up of anti-ground units, with only mutalisks able to target your vikings. You can also interrupt infestations in progress if you get lucky and stumble on one before the virophage even starts.

My walkthroughs focus on beating the levels, getting research options, and achieving (most of) the bonus objectives. They do not focus on special challenges or perfection. I am hardly the best SC2 player, but hopefully my strategies will help the other players out there who are struggling with Brutal difficulty. Please check out my channel for more SC2 walkthroughs.

Ok, how do you have 7 protoss research already at mission 9. I have gotten all research possible so far in the campaign (for both zerg and protoss), and I only have 5 protoss research. Is it bugged?

you're probably right. i let them all get infested and then took them all out, the method in this video is much more efficient that that.

@acstas87 On hard i did kill the closest base at the beginning, but on brutal i think micro'ing you're base is more important than wasting you're time on that base.

Your initial three vikings can destroy the first infested place by themselves w/o loss. helps reduce attackers and speeds things up.
