On December 28th the GTS got the RCMP to come down to the Unity Movement camp on the pretense that they needed to retrieve mail keys from behind the security line. Watch as Delgamuukw confronts the RCMP, talks about the ridiculousness of the situation, and listens to what GTS representatives have to say. Also see how the RCMP handled the situation, and hear what they have to say.

  • The GTS will meet today in Terrace. This is a clear move on the part of its board of directors to avoid meetings in the Gitxsan community. The GTS is in defiance of the majority of hereditary chiefs. Do you think dialogue is possible under these circumstances?

  • have you sent a letter to the board of directors inviting them to come down?

  • @AmmaGunnaGetcha A meeting was called with the board yes, and only 2 board members showed up. That update is on the website, probably page 2 or 3 now. A letter was also sent to them instructing them to follow the will of the Chiefs. They each took an oath to the Chiefs and Gitxsan - that is on the update too.
