Trianon palace in Versailles, near Paris. 4th of June, 1920, at 16:30 hours. Diplomats are gathering to sign the peace treaty after World War I. Here we find the Czech, the Slovak and the Rumanian delegation, the so called Little Entente, who had strong interests in disintegrating Hungary. And also diplomats from England, France and other winning states of Entente Powers. They sit in judgement on Hungary. Count Albert Apponyi from Hungary talks to them. In three languages, for two hours, for one nation. While other defeated countries could remain without significant territorial losses, Hungary was reduced from 282,000 km^2 to 93,000 km^2. Only 7.6 million Hungarians remained within the new borders from the pop. of 18 millions. Transylvania, the High Lands and other parts of Hungary were attached to the neighbouring countries.

Trianon WASN'T based on real democratic referendums (general equal & secret ballots). The"national councils" were elected suspiciously-way, without any local documentations. Czechs don't trust in Slovaks (because very few slovaks joined/supported the "czechoslovak" army against Hungarians (Slovaks were 48%)). Romanian politicians didn't trust in original transylvanian romanians, perhabs they didn't want to join to backward poor Romania (romanians were 53%) in 1918. Serbs were minority (22%) in Southern Hungary.
