Most people forget to mention that the girl is a great dancer too. If you are dancing with a lady that doesn't know her stuff you end up finding it difficult to do any turns or synchronizing or returning from difficult moves. I think the woman is the center of it all. It´s what we call in Cuba "marcar" or keep the beat. This girl does that very well and is very independent, something that´s extremely hard to find with non-cuban dancers; You always feel like pulling a tractor!

los mayameros no saben ni pa donde queda el norte ni pa donde queda el sur, se han puesto a invertar sin saber. Pro bueno para eso estoy yo aqui. El muchacho baila muy pero que muy bien, elegante y exacto con el estilo original. Eso es Cuba aqui y en la luna.
