You can also add sculptures like these to functional pottery. There's a long tradition of face jugs in existence. It might also be neat having a cup or mug with your own portrait on it. This would take collaboration with a potter or you'd have to learn the skills yourself though.
Using oil or acrylic painting techniques on top of a sculpture would also give you an infinite amount of opportunity to create stylized or realistic additions to the bust. You'd have to fire it and seal it though.
As for ideas for how to make a profit for doing things like this, I gained a few from my Ceramics class last fall.
You could sculpt busts of families or children as portraits. Advertise that these capture much more than a photo ever could. Try to get potential clients to imagine such a sculpture sitting in their home or office and reasons why they'd need it.
Here's some ideas to throw at you for where to go from here(or for other similar projects):
You could fire the clay in a kiln and then seal the ceramics to add a patina to simulate bronze sculpture. You many have to Google a bit to find some info on this.
Making a mold was a good idea. You then could make replications through slipcasting or even create a wax positive for lost wax casting with bronze. It'd be expensive, but neat to have something so permanent.
Great sculpt & video Marc!

That's really cool Marc. I think the ear positions are way better here. Was great to see a close up of the eyes. Nice work!
I reckon you should consider taking a mould for posterity. Might make a fun casting project in your elder years! :)
