Wow great tutorial! I was stressing about using a staple gun but I see a glue gun is much better! It looks so cleaner and neater that way. Thanks!

Loved the tutorial....Could I do the same placing the headboard horizontally? If so how would I mount it and for a queen size bed how long would the plywood have to be? Thanks...

Yes @Tr3sC89 you can place it horizontally! A queen size bed is typically 60 inches wide or 5 feet so you would want your board to be at least that length. But you can also make it longer too!! You can use the simple screw method or make a cleat. For this headboard I used 4 screws (2 in each panel). I placed them in the middle of the panel evenly apart from each other. Hope this helps!

Great tutorial! How did you mount the headboard onto the wall?

@reezide25 @peacelove1431 Sorry I'm just getting back with you. Their are several ways to mount them to the wall. You can use the simple screws method or make a cleat. For this headboard I used 4 screws (2 in each panel). I placed them in the middle of the panel evenly apart from each other. I've made several headboards that can be viewed at aprildenise.blogspot.com! Thanks for watching!!
