@interloper65 There are people who live with some sort of socialized medicine who also think it is great. Fact is, people who have universal/single payer/socialized whatever you want to call it think America is pathetic because we are at the mercy of greedy insurance companies. & Obama doesn't need a teleprompter to talk to a group of people, thats SO ridiculous!

you trust the centrist democrats to actually fix it in reconciliation? The same schmucks who conned the people into voting for them in 06 because they said they'd end the war in Iraq? Wow, are you naive.
There is a way to fix it in reconciliation, which would follow the rules of affecting only existing programs: Medicare for all - expand it to cover everyone - it'd be cheaper, and wouldn't further wreck the economy by giving everyone an additional financial burden like mandatory insurance.

@BeantownJim Typical kneejerk neo-con talk. Blame the liberals. The horrific PATRIOT act was passed under which administration? Bush? The law that emasculates the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Amendments and drastically effects the 10th as well? Liberals didn't write the PATRIOT act, and Dennis Kucinich (a liberal) didn't vote for it. In his own words, he didn't vote for it "Because I read it." Blame Bush and the corporate centrists, not liberals nor true conservatives like Dr. Paul.
