@Accordioman Doing stupid mistakes on purpose is another thing. Alice is alive and well, it has nothing to do with ridicilous vocal effect.

@ZZombyWooff An artist who doesn't take chances and try something different is no artist. Compare his 'miss steps' to a band that has hit a plateau and can't evolve. I'd support an artist that takes risks and 'falls on his face'. Like SPARKS he evolves and changes. You die if you don't evolve and change. Alice is alive and well!

@FrankieSayRelaxxx1 Right on! Someone knows thier shit too. This song wouldn't work without it. It gives it just the right edge.

He knows EXACTLY what he is doing...... there IS a method to his madness!!!

O CARA É UM GENIO APESAR DESSA MUSACA NÃO FICA TÃO ROCK AND ROLL MAIS FICOU MUITO FODA

@ZZombyWooff The effect you are criticising him for using is not autotune, the effect you are hearing is from a sin-square wave oscillator.

Let's face it; Alice have made few embarassing miss steps during his career. This tune/vocoder thing is one of them. It would work as a effect on some other song. But mixed with this certain modern sounding MTV-melody, it sounds really commercial and deliberate.
He isn't using auto tune to correct his pitching.. if he cared that much about singing so perfect he'd use it in more than one song on the entire album... he's using it as an effect.
