Raptor G2 - TailRotor Problem

The tail servo moves when i use the trottle. Is this Rudd Mix? Is the gyro in "flash twice mode" (neutral position has to be reset)?

After the mechanical neutral position are complete, set the gyro to AVCS mode and the gyro gain at 70-80% for hovering/normal flight. The gyro will work great with the HelMax MX400.

The problem was the Gyro Rev Mix :)

hey i had a Raptor G2 and crashed it. i want to get the Helimax MX400 Arf and put all the upgraded raptor electronics in it. will the different heli affect the gyro? also how do i adjust the gyro for normal flying?

Haha, ya, the rev mix turns on when you're adjusting the other dial, both dials are being adjusted, but they don't tell you about that in the manual.

I accidentally set my rev mixing on once. Makes for a really hard heli to control!

BEWARE: The WK-0701 remote control manual doesn't explain things properly.

Ya maybe the gyro's bad, doesn't sound good, maybe it'll work better with the dx6i.

You should try the $50 copterx 450SE V2 head, I've had good luck with it.  Direct swap with align feathering/main shafts make it easy to maintain.

gyro mite be bad ,on gyro stand , keeps tuning over51% works great at lower setting ,had to build the stand to figure that one out, kept drainin batt, couldn't get setting at all above 51% and the lower setting works, ???good head lock , thing is it pushes back more one way than the other, least it 's workin rite, gyro out of wack, maybe goin bad ?? p.s. i want an HK or 5, got the E.X.I. $76 w/ ship , watin on bl motor , dx6i , cnc tail , align m, gear + blades, got esky gyro !

Ya with a BL upgrade the Raptor has a little too much power. The frame and parts are a little weak for that much power, if you crash, the thing explodes. It's cheaper to get something like the HK450 from hobbycity for $75(after shipping), and throw everything on there, instead of rebuilding the G2. My G2 is put together right now, but I don't fly it because it'll explode like glass.

The gyro seems to work well, you just need to set it up right, 35-45 is way too low.

yea, did just that + bl upgrade and moved servo arm balllinks out , + 2200 batt, = damn, mild to wild, just sayin bad, very bad instructions for a beginner as far as that go's your absolutly rite!! i'm personaly gonna turn my pitch back down a hair.LOL & my gyro dont work rite until about 35-45%???avcs??no # is the one.hay just something funny gyro stand is almost 2lb's accedently bumped my throt,up while checkin gyro , bird took to the air quicker than shit, just got done with repairs AGAIN !

Haha, well, flipping the 3 switches to make adjustments was explained. You can figure out the rest by powering the heli and seeing what the settings do.
