This song has been written and recorded over the last few days after EZY started sending me so many great tunes it became hard to ignore the potential of a collaboration.....
The lyrics for this song were originally based around most of my previous relationships. The words draw on a certain kind of woman that attracted me and what I would aspire to be at the time we were together.
They are meant to represent some of the traits I find most attractive in a partner - for example: fragility / neediness / messed up heads /innocence of youth - all the things that a typical older guy would see in a younger woman..........and then half way through the song writing I realised I was actually writing my promise to Dionne (now my wife) when we first met.....
These are probably the best lyrics I have written since a period in 2004 when I was single and I'd like to thank a couple of people for making them happen:
Ezy & Joffrey - for not giving up and having real belief in getting this done!

Dionne: Obviously - although she appreciates me writing more blusey than this lol

And lastly my Mum & Dad - who have quite a bit to do with the songs I write (although they don't really know it hehe) My Mum - coz I dont think I'd have a voice worth listening to if it wasn't for the fact that she did also.........And My Dad - because he taught me the most valuable thing I ever learnt.......'Tomorrow is a brand new day'.....A statement that runs through the lyrics of this song like it were blood in the veins.....
