against guys a lot bigger than u, u'd have to jump first in hope of that big guy also jumping after u jump so u can block the big guy's shot timingly. LeBron jumped 2 seconds before yao shot the ball

@1994Jett what a 1.82 is 5"11 its kind of hard to believe but ok you know dunk is not everything they are 2 points layup is 2 points too so i am ok about the dunk and i am white :D

@sakis1992 Alright, you're 5'11 and you played against a 6'9 opponent. By the way, if you cant dunk at 5'11 that's pretty bad...anyways, you'd still require skill to block an opponent as skilled and as tall as Yao.

@1994Jett no i am 1.82m its a little hard for me to tell the inches so i have played with a 2.05 player and y its was too hard to block him even to stop him from the basket

@sakis1992 Lol 16-17 inches, don't lie man. If you're 5'10 that means you've went up agaisnt a 7 footer. That's how much of a difference you're talking about. Being taller in basketball is a great advantage, my point is Yao ming is hard to block..a 7 feet and 6 inches wall, that's an ALL STAR player. It is an accomplishment to block him. Even if you were 6'8 like Lebron, you still wouldn't be able to block a 7'6 player.

@1994Jett y i never went up against not 10 higher i think about 16-17 inches but the thing is that i cant dunk for now so i cant block face to face a higher opponent so its hard to impossivble for me

@sakis1992 If it's that easy. Then why didn't Yao Ming get blocked on a nightly basis? Yes Nate Robinson did it as well, and it's an even bigger accomplishment for him..but I thought you said the height of the player doesn't matter if you can dunk?..Contradicting yourself there my friend? I'm telling you now, that it isn't easy, i'm guessing you've never went up against an opponent nearly 10 inches taller than you..if you did, you wqould know what I was talking about.

@1994Jett y my friend the height of player doesnt mean anything if you can dunk, if you dunk the thing its kind of easy you can reach the opponent's hands a 7footer cant jump he dunk with a little jump now if some like lebron who can reach his head to the rim block him from behind big deal i wanna see if lebron can block him face to face (even robinson blocked Yao this is a accomplisment and he did it face to face)

You want to see him blocking one face to face..also, this ain't no ordinary 7 footer, it's a 7 ft 6 inch man (10 inches difference from Lebron) who's also an all star and former leader of the China basketball team.
