[DIS-Awards] Censorship Causes Blindness

In order of the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, we have build an artistic animation video to protest against the censorship in China. In this movie a girl, named Pamela, is going to the Chinese restaurant. On its way to the Chinese she is getting a lot of attention but when she is getting their food in the restaurant, she is not getting any attention from the Chinese cook. When she knocks on the shutter she founds out why the cook is not paying any attention to Pamela. The Chinese kitchen symbolizes the actual censorship policy in China.


In opdracht van de HU (Hogeschool Utrecht), hebben wij een artistieke animatie video gemaakt om te protesteren tegen de censuur in China. Hierbij gaat het om een meisje genaamd "Pamela" die naar de Chinees gaat om eten te bestellen. Onderweg naar de Chinese krijgt ze veel aandacht van alle mannen op straat. Na het bestellen gaat in het Chinese restaurant het luikje wel erg snel open en dicht, Pamela krijgt geen aandacht van de kok. Ze is verbaast, klopt op het luikje, want Pamela is gewend om alle aandacht te krijgen. Na het openen ziet ze echter enkele schokkende gebeurtenissen waarom de kok geen aandacht aan haar bestede. De Chinese keuken symboliseert de werkelijke censuur beleid in China.
