Robin Ince is actually a sleeper agent put there by Vatican scholars in an attempt to stigmatise all atheists as smug, sneering and incapable of putting together a tight 15-minute comedy routine together. I believe his real name is Alessio D'Amunnizo and he's a prelate from somewhere near Treviso.
Even the very worst predictions of global warming don't say we'll "all fry"... this alarmist nonsense is getting ridiculous.
"strong leadership" will just end up equally politicians making heavy handed regulations interfering with the market, they won't curb CO2 emissions, but they will benefits their favoured political friends. That's how regulation always works. The market will automatically start delivering green products if that's what people want, because the market is just all people.
@davyjames - I've never understood the attraction of conspiracy theories, & yours is just bizarre. I see politicians fiddling whilst Rome burns. They're not at all keen on accepting the ample evidence for anthropogenic climate change, let alone showing leadership & tackling it. They don't care about what's actually happening to the planet - they want votes, & that makes the issue your responsibility. If you deny climate change whilst we all fry, you're hardly in a position to call anyone stupid.
Robin ince is a bit stupid here. Politics clearly affects the science of global warming because all scientists are paid for by politicioans, and politicians have a direct incentive in global warming being true.
Beware: THIS MAN DRINKS MILK FROM COW'S UDDERS.
