Lollo Meier- close up tremolo

Filmed for www.gypsyjazzacademy.com

In his lessons he shows the basics of solid Django Reinhardt style rhythm playing, developing the right hand and picking technique. Lollo illustrates gypsy waltz and swing waltz rhythms and gives us an analysis of his tune Hondarribia.

He shows how he takes the basic chords to Django's Tiger and adds passing chords and embellishments, he also show us the "missing tune" to this song passed down by the gypsy players.

He does the same for the Minor Swing and plays one improvised chorus over the classic song.

He gives an interview which provides details on his musical influences, telling us how he learned to become a virtuoso guitarist and gives us advice to ensure that we can master the fundamental elements of the style.

Also features two stunning solo guitar performances and much more.
