Yeah I agree. Too much backdashing makes you predictable and susceptible to those attacks you mentioned.

backdashing is a bad habit. Sagat can kara uppercut u and shotos can tatsu u or ultra u if they catch on

Just a note for mere mortals who play Viper ...
Kyabetsu's habit of not back dashing after a "crouching medium punch + medium thunder knuckle" combo may not be applicable when playing Shoto characters on PSN or XboxLive. That's because players in those 2 ALWAYS retaliate with a Shoryuken (or equivalent), so back dashing ONCE after said combo - ala Uryo - is highly recommended.

well i mean kyabetsu is really good.but still ranked 56.... this is japanese level.

doesn´t mean a thing...kyabetsu is a top tier viper (together with uryo and dashio in that list).. he dousn`t seem to be very serious in that korea/japan thing... or he had a bad day

Wow, Japan seems to be on a whole different level from Korea. Hopefully the next Korean knows how to play someone who isn't a shoto or at least not Ryu
