A story about a periodic table element named Oxygen who feels useless to the world. One day, a ghost magically appears and takes Oxygen on an adventure to discover more about himself. Little does Oxygen know that he is more important than he thinks.


Oxygen facts:
1) Element name: Oxygen
2) Atomic symbol: O
3) Nonmetal
4) Atomic mass: 15.9994
5) Discovered by Carl Wilhem Scheele in 1772 and later discovered by Joseph Priestly 1774. Because Priestly published his foundings the same year he discovered it, he is credited more for it. Unfortunately, Scheele published his foundings 3 years after the discovery.

9) Boiling point: 90.19 (K) Melting point: 54.8 (K)
10) Oxygen is found in plants, trees, and water. It makes up 21% of the earth's atmosphere and is found everywhere in the air we breathe
11) Oxygen is used to break down glucose in order to release energy throughout the body.
12) Other important facts: Without oxygen, the immune system would be weakened, viruses would attack the body, and there would be no living creatures in the world
