This video shows my very first steps with camera tracking and compositing with Boujou 5, Cinema 4D R11.5 and Adobe After Effects. I think I'm on a good way.

  • the framerate must be all the same in all programs...like if i rendered my footage in after effects @ 25fps.....in boujou also the camera rate must be 25fps and in cinema 4d also no?

  • @saradeva11 The problem occurs by exporting the frames out from Boujou. Just re-export and double-check yout settings. Set the starting frame to 0 instead of 1. That's may be the solution.

  • why the tracking points are behind the camera and not the plane when imported on cinema 4d! am using boujou 5

    is that normal

  • @saradeva11 This is a problem that occurs by exporting the data for Cinema 4D. In fact it doesn't matter. But it's easy to fix. Here we go:

    1. After C4D export, open the *.c4d file in any text editor

    2. Do a search for "Key -3.141593"

    3. Change it to "Key 0.00000"

    4. Change the value directly above that from "Key -0.00000" to "Key 0.000000"

    5. Now do a document wide find and replace: Find - "ParentItem 10000001"

    6. Replace with - "ParentItem 10000002"

    7. Save and close the file

    That's it!
