No one can match Frankie Ford, EXCEPT the Great Johnny Rivers. This guy was born to rock! He improves virtually everything he touches, what a pleasure to hear his take on such great songs.

In Huey Smith's band the vocals were first done by Geri Hall, but later on replaced by Frankie Ford's (Dr. John's nephew) who also played guitar on this record from Huey.

Written by Huey Smith and played first by "Huey Piano Smith and The Clowns" in 1959. JOHN FOGERTY's version is my favourite ! (JF played all instruments himself by the way)
