I got an SMS (text) after work one day from a friend who is taking care of Gip the monkey. My friend is staying with Gip while the home owner is out of the country. He said the gardener had called him freaking out that the monkey got out and was running around crazy, and that he wasn't able to get over to the house as he had just started work far from there. So I headed over there to catch Gip. Monkeys that are caged up run CRAZY WILD when they break loose and she tore up all the packets of cafe, mokaccino, hot cocoa, candy, etc, that were laying on the kitchen counters and spread the sugary mess all over the place. When I arrived on scene Gip was sitting on the roof with a foamy, sticky sugar coated face and a massive cheek full of sweets. I tried chasing her around and coaxing her down into grabbing distance with some cookies, but she was wired crazy from the sugar she had already eaten and was staying well out of reach. Also at this house stay 3 dogs, a mama Pomeranian and her two puppies (which are almost as big as the mom now). The dogs were barking and chasing the monkey all over making it harder to calm the monkey down and into my grasp. I finally gave up chasing the monkey having learned that the best way to catch a monkey is to sit down and wait for her to come to me. So I sat on the couch and a minute or two later she came up timidly seeking affection as you'll see in this video.
Cut her throat. Problem solved.

Postedthisvid, I love your monkey vids. Keep 'em coming. Some people get so attached to an idea that they can't comprehend reality. Don't let them get you down.

@fredfinizzi, he's not in a country that HAS many 'credited primate sanctuary' available. Oh, wait...did you mean 'accredited'? Well, that's too bad. They don't have those, either. That monkey's already in the closest thing they''ve got to a sanctuary. Happy now? The country he's in is up to its' eyeballs in monkeys, so they don't do the sanctuary thing so much, m'kay? Do you 'get' it now or is it too much? Some people here have just proved that they already are 'low life'. Dork.

you are now part of the problem. The reason they "run wild" when they get out of their cage is because IT IS IN A F'N CAGE YOU JACKASS!!! IT IS 100% ABUSE!!!!!! To not be considered lower than the foam in the corners of my mouth.....go back take this ABUSED TORTURED CAGED PRIMATE to a credited primate sanctuary so it can one day be released back into the wild WHERE IT F'N BELONGS!!! If you o not help this animal get back to the wild you will be considered a low life !
