i've seen skyward sword in action. and skyrim. skyrim is far better. It knows how to make the 5th or more game in a series good. legend of zelda games have not, as I understand, improved in decades.

@WarLordM1 unresponsive? Wrong. Most of the games control perfectly. From what i read the games i listed are pretty well rated by most people that played them. Try playing Skyward sword or any other great Wii game then come back.

you understand that all of the games you just listed are famous for being sequelic or just generally "crap."
the wii is, as I understand from my not japanese, and unfortunately very americanized view of video gaming, unresponsive, desighned for exclusively for Mario MMXVII, and generaly too motion intensive for the average lazy vieo gamer (like me.)
Indeed, i'd never get one just because it seems like to much wrist and arm effort.

i bought madworld and sonic colors yesterday...what drastically different games

There are plenty of mature games for Wii, Madworld, House of The Dead: Overkill, Resident Evil 4, Dead Space: Extraction, Conduit, Call of Duty, and plenty more mature games (especially shooters). Shooters tend to work best for the Wii. It's only idiots who brand the Wii as for babies or old people.
The Wii is so great as it is simple, fun, easy to use. So therefore it appeals to kids, and old people. But it's not limited to that age range.
