I believe Carl is on guitar and I don't know what else, maybe backing vocals in the middle section. I know Dennis involved him in this song and sessions. I think it's one of the best songs connected to The Beach Boys, and one of the best songs I've ever heard.

this even sounds very much like a Carl song. "Lady" though is VERY Dennis.

All 3 Wilson brothers were fine singers. Sadly, Dennis' voice was systematically destroyed by his own addictions.
