Article 90 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ)

makes it a crime for a military member to WILLFULLY disobey a superior commissioned officer.

ii Authority of issuing officer. The commissioned officer issuing the order must have authority to give such an order.

It would be unlawful to quell anyone's constitutional rights wouldn't this situation also be unlawful

only military OFFICERS have that right, enlisted do not.

if you are ordered to jump off a bridge and you dont, you could be prosecuted for disobeying a direct order ( you wouldnt of course, the officer who gave you the order would get in trouble )

when you are ordered to do something you have to do it - or face the consequences, it will take a brave soldier to stand up for our rights and put their careers and lives in danger. Every single soldier takes an oath to protect the constitution.

The Obama admin doesn't care about some hicks shooting squirrels, and they don't care about tea-partiers with assault rifles. There are some people who genuinely care about reducing violence in this country, and see gun control as a means to achieve that. However, if you think Obama wants to take away anyones guns as a means to control them, then you don't understand how modern western governments work. They work through controlling people's thoughts via propaganda (advertising etc.).

Do people genuinely believe that the government wants to take away their guns? That would be one of the dumbest things i've heard of, and you hear of a lot of dumb stuff going on in the US.
