    this was the very first heavy metal riff ever played. Ray rewired Dave's amp. to get the right distortion he wanted,but the term [heavy-metal] wasn't coined until John Kaye of Steppin' Wolf wrote born to be wild the rest is history.Heavy -Metal Thunder!!!!!!
