Kind of a gray area here- if in the course of affecting the arrest our defendant is injured due to our actions, we will seek medical help- but this is not law. Sometimes the county in which we are surrendering the defendant to will tell us to go to a hospital for medical release. We oblige however, we do not have to- if the defendant is unfit to go to jail due to medical history the county has to take him/her or O.R. them. ........bb15

@thelegend22 no mil/police expierence needed. some states require you do a course, others dont. an easy career if u can catch ppl easy and lots of em. . .u make big bucks and have a great time. way better than a cop. but its dangerous. one of my teammates got his leg busted super bad by a guy with a vacumn cleaner(yeah) now he has to use a brace to be able to run. good fitness and physical dominace is useful.

@Mrrr305 same here in Georgia. we don't have to take them to get medical attention. Most of the time a deputy will take them. as dewitt said, we can oblige if we want to but don't have to.
