Here is a small beta sampling of the music I've created from scratch for the fan film. Somehow there is some distortion in the first melody, which I'm puzzled about. Needless to say, it will undergo revisions. Since it's obvious to the devoted D&D fan that Marvel Productions used music from Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, I will, too. Save for title #3 (an original bit), the rest are inspired by the scores from Johnny Douglas, which I play by ear.
Tools:
Art: Traditional Media, Photoshop CS3.
Music: ProTools 8 SE, Acoustica Mixcraft.
A/V: Camtasia 5.0
Bonus: For those of you searching for some D&D Music:
In July 2010 I did contact the President of Dulcima Records (after finding the Dungeons and Dragons theme music only on the Dulcima records site): no sheet music was ever written, and it was never put to CD.
But...
Here and there, over the years, I'd spent time seeking, isolating and merging music bits from various episodes of the show here and there...and have done my best to minimize other sounds (speech, sfx) that are on the track. Some simply can't be helped.
I've made several public very recently, giving them names- including these here (make sure to put the http, etc.).
