From the American Revolution Round Table of Philadelphia, historian Thomas Fleming profiles the women who played a central part in the lives of the founding fathers in his book, The Intimate Lives of the Founding Fathers. From the partnership of John and Abigail Adams, who reminded her husband to "remember the ladies" as he assisted in the creation of a new government, to the prominent role Dolly Madison played in encouraging her once shy husband, James, and the turbulent marriages of Benjamin Franklin and Alexander Hamilton. Thomas Fleming discusses his book with Barbara Mitnick, professor at Drew University and the editor of New Jersey in the American Revolution.
