  • Is that Branford Marsalis playing soprano sax?

  • Yes...

  • This is really good. Herb sounds really great on this, one of the best I've ever heard him live and in a jazz setting.

  • Thank you...

  • You could at least spell Herb's last name correctly - it's AlPert, not AlBert!!!

  • Sorry Mr. Perfect...

  • reminds me of mom and dad going out on a date in the mid 60's. and i would have to spend the evening with the hot babysitter.

  • Herb Alpert is a true National Treasure, the man can play anything, anywhere, and to any audience.... Perhaps the real reason for his perennial popularity is his highly refined sense of class, the man has a finely tuned ear not just for melody, but for rhythms, and for talent. He ALWAYS surrounds himself with a fine stable of great musicians. God Bless Him and his lovely and gracious wife, Ms. Lani Alpert Hall, another incredible talent....

  • @Unixilandia That's why I respect him so much as a musician and a person.

  • Herb Alpert: awesome as always, thanks a lot for share this beautiful "Live concert"

  • @boricuajazzz8 lol i love how you left the b xD

  • Is there any album version of this version?

    Sounds perfect....

  • @boricuajazzz8 .LOL! and i bet people knowing Alpert still said Albert...lol:/

  • Good version, but I can't do without the bass drum - trombone bit of the original version.

  • That was awesome, I'd love to see him play somewhere, anytime. The should make his life story, I'll go with Antonio to play the part before he gets too old.

  • @Jazzbill1958 Ahhh, go fuck yourself jackass. If you knew anything you'd call HA&TJB a total schlock act. Most of his stuff was done by robots.

  • Nice but sort of like Elvis singing Blue Suede Shoes as a ballad.
