Thanks again for all your tips and downloads!! I'm new to motion and your videos really help.
Is there a way to use motion tracking for something like this?

Nice effect. Would recomend using motion tracking in Motion. Works better than trying to keyframe the movement.

@AriCat101 I'm sorry for the delay, I've been really slammed for time. If you follow the install instruction in the Read Me, you should have no problems. The Disguise folder has to be inside > YourHomeFolder > Movies > Motion Templates > Effects > [A folder of your own making OR any of the other folders that already exist (a.k.a. Categories). After a manual install, you should restart FCPX if it's running. HTH

AFAIK, there is no way to use the Motion Tracking tools in Motion in effects or generators in Final Cut, which is too bad but not likely to happen considering the setup procedures. To use motion tracking: process it *first* in Motion; export from Motion and import the new clip in FCPX. I think it actually takes less time to manually keyframe it in fcpx. And for most clips this effect would be used for? You'd probably only need 2 or 3 keyframes, max; tracking would be overkill. HTH

There are a lot of FCP(X) users who do not use Motion... bad for them... good for us :)
