The final report says that a contractor used a sealant on a joint in the line, an excess of which clogged two steam traps. Extraordinarily heavy rains that morning apparently cooled that steam line creating a heavy condensate load which, of course, could not be drained off due to the clogged traps. It was "Hammer Time."

NEVER underestimate the power of steam. This was used 100 years ago for steam engines. (Most powerful for their time) This was SUPERHEATED STEAM!! Contact with the human body will melt the skin....
