I didn't know I liked Frankie Laine until recently. Searching the videos for good music, I kept coming back to songs like; High Noon, Cool Water etc. all by Frankie. That man had the voice and it's a pity, like everything, that it had to fail a little over time, But he kept entertaining right to the end. I'm now glad that he choose to sing those songs when he did and how he did. You're a great man RIP.

This is great! My dad loved this guy and I'm 62! Anyway, thought that was great that Frankie performed again at the ripe old age of 92. Just fantastic. I know he must have enjoyed that immensely. Wish I had audio interviews of him at an earlier age in addition to his TV appearances.

Janna,
I know how you feel, I look at the singers of yesteryear, and the so called singers of today, give me those good ole days anytime. When I cross over to the other side, I hope Frankie is there singing all his great hits.

10 years younger then you but you echo my sediments janna. Nothing takes one to a special place in our memories like music & Frankie Laine was a Master of that Music. So few today can carry the lyrics of music the way he could. Every now and then a special voice touches the heart the way he did. I think that was why Susan Boyle captured our ears & heart so perfectly.

Still got tears in my eyes -Frankie laine was My hero from when I was small child-my whole family was in love with his sound
I'm 69 now and kind of taking stock of my life, looking back on the music I loved, and I could not believe just how magnificient Franks' voice was and how much they left a permanet footprint in my heart. I love Frank always and expect to join him not too long. The world may not find a talent so great in a long time. I do want to join those "Ghost Riders in the Sky"-my favorite. Good nite, Frank. See You.
